GivEnergy Insight is an independent, monitoring-only application that brings inverter, solar, battery, grid, meter, tariff, EV, forecast and energy-performance information into one composed interface. It supports direct local-network monitoring that can continue without internet, optional Cloud access, a built-in simulator, long-term private statistics, health and alert signals, cost and value insights, CSV reporting and a full-screen Smart View. The current release is free for Apple Silicon Mac, Intel Mac, Windows x64 and compatible x86_64 Synology DSM systems. It reads energy data but does not change inverter settings, charge schedules, discharge schedules or export profiles. GivEnergy Insight is not affiliated with or endorsed by GivEnergy.

- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac with macOS 12+, 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11, or a compatible x86_64 Synology NAS running DSM 7.1+ with Node.js v18. A compatible inverter is required for live data; the included simulator can be used without one.

Yes. The current Mac, Windows and compatible Synology DSM releases are free from the official GivEnergy Insight website, with no subscription, marketplace licence or private shop download.
Can GivEnergy Insight change my inverter settings?+
No. GivEnergy Insight is monitoring-only. It reads compatible energy data but does not change inverter settings, charge or discharge schedules, or export profiles.
Where are the downloads and setup instructions?+
Use the Visit official GivEnergy Insight website button. The official site maintains the current platform downloads, published checksums, installation guidance and detailed help.
