Development process
A practical, visible process that reduces ambiguity before it becomes expensive.
1. Understand
Clarify the real user, operational constraint, commercial goal and definition of success. Existing systems and risks are reviewed before recommending a build.
2. Shape
Map journeys, content and data. The smallest responsible scope is agreed with milestones, assumptions and acceptance criteria.
3. Design and develop
Interface and implementation evolve together. Security, accessibility and responsive behaviour are treated as product requirements.
4. Verify and release
Critical workflows are tested, deployment is documented, credentials are kept out of code and the handover explains how the system is maintained.
5. Support and improve
Post-release work focuses on evidence: compatibility, user feedback, operational friction and a measured product roadmap.
